Gita Matlock is a nonprofit professional with more than twelve years of experience in fundraising for local, national and international organizations. Gita’s work has brought her from the heart of Los Angeles’ Rampart District to the farthest reaches of rural Ethiopia. Specializing in communications, relationship building and strategic planning, Gita has guided organizations through significant change and helped them grow exponentially. In her professional career, Gita has overseen three capital campaigns, developed national major gift strategies, led teams of development officers across the nation and much more. Gita earned a bachelors in International Studies from Pepperdine University and a Masters of Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco.
Outside of work, Gita is a certified yoga and meditation teacher and a dedicated mother.
