The journey begins

The journey of yoga has officially begun. I’m not sure what this experience will hold, but I know already that it will be transformative.

How is it that a yoga teacher can somehow sense what you’re struggling with? How is it that s/he can say just the right thing to create an intention that will enable you to face your biggest obstacle? It’s not always like that for me, but I can say with honesty that more often than not, yoga teachers have a way of saying just the right thing at just the right time for me. Will I be able to be that intuitive? I hope so! What a beautiful gift to give the world.
I’m still pretty intimidated by the physical demands that lay ahead, but I’m hopeful that I can be gentle with myself while pushing forward through the mental obstacles that hold me back.
In my enthusiasm today, I bought http://www.yogawithgita.com! We’ll see over time what information fills its pages…
